Just like us regular people, celebrities are struggling with maintaining their haircuts, manicures, and brows during the quarantine. Salons and barbershops are closed so desperate times call for desperate measures. For Taika Waititi, however, it calls for some father-daughter bonding time.

The award-winning actor, director, and screenwriter posted an Instagram Live video of his daughters giving him a haircut on Tuesday, March 31. Now, this wasn't just a little trim — this was a full-on buzz-and-scissors haircut done by his two young girls. And, to be honest, they didn't do such a shabby job.

Waititi begins the video by telling the girls to do whatever they want — a bold statement — but to start with the sides. The girls start the cut by using a buzzer (with a guard, of course), taking turns on the sides of their dad's head and, boy, did they have a long way to go.

Waititi initially wanted only the sides touched up, but about halfway through he told his daughters to just go crazy and shave it all off, to which one responded, "I'm not shaving all your hair off!." But they listened to Dad and the scissors came out. Next thing you know, he had a buzz cut. And we must say, it suits him well.

We have to admit that watching this live video made us a little anxious, but Waititi's fans were loving it. So many chimed into his live video with comments like "So cute! you're the best dad," and, "They've got a future in the business." And we have to agree. Maybe the girls will look back on this video from their own salon one day.
